Cookie Policy
Club SOBO Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Club SOBO uses cookies and similar technologies across the public website, same-domain support routes, and app-linked web pages.
1) What this covers
- This cookie policy covers Club SOBO pages on clubsobo.co.uk, including public member, business, support, privacy, legal, and offer-discovery pages.
- Cookies are small browser records. Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, device identifiers, and security logs.
- The Club SOBO mobile app may use secure device storage for sign-in, role state, cached member QR access, app preferences, security checks, error logs, and support diagnostics.
- External services opened from Club SOBO, such as maps, booking, ordering, payment, social, or app-store links, use their own cookie and privacy rules.
2) Cookie and storage categories
- Strictly necessary: used for security, page delivery, session continuity, fraud prevention, form protection, role-specific guidance pages, and remembering essential choices.
- Preferences: used where enabled to remember non-essential settings such as display preferences, app-routing choices, or repeat support-route prompts.
- Analytics and performance: used only where enabled and lawful to understand page performance, broken routes, offer-page demand, and which public guidance pages need improvement.
- Marketing: not used for third-party advertising by default. If Club SOBO enables marketing cookies later, the site should present a lawful consent route first.
3) Managing choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some essential Club SOBO pages may not work correctly if strictly necessary cookies or storage are blocked.
- Accepting Club SOBO terms is not treated as consent to non-essential cookies, marketing pixels, or optional analytics.
- Non-essential cookies, browser storage, app identifiers, or similar technologies are used only where a lawful route is available.
- Where a cookie banner, consent panel, or privacy choices tool is available, use it to update non-essential choices without deleting your account.
- For member account deletion, use the app Settings flow or the current Privacy choices guidance page if you cannot access the app.
- For wider UK GDPR requests, use Data Rights Request or email hello@clubsobo.co.uk.
4) Mobile app storage
- The Club SOBO app can store sign-in session tokens, role state, app preferences, cached or last-active member QR data, and security information on your device.
- Mobile sessions may remain signed in for up to 60 days unless you log out, delete the account, or Club SOBO revokes the session earlier for security or service-integrity reasons.
- Cached QR support is intended to help members display recent membership access where connectivity is poor. Server-side checks, business scanner checks, eligibility, revocation, and fraud controls still apply when a scan or redemption is processed.
- Push-notification tokens, device metadata, QR or redemption security checks, and error logs may be processed where needed to run, secure, and support the app.
